My Story
Hi! I'm Lisi—an engineer, a mother, and a wife, all in one package. I am a second-generation immigrant, with a Cuban mother and a Puerto Rican father. A Florida native, I currently live with my college sweetheart and our three amazing little kids.
In 2017, we welcomed our middle son who has Down Syndrome and I added advocate to my list of hats I wear, publishing articles and guest appearing in podcasts to help create a world where my son's extra chromosome is celebrated rather than seen as a disability.
Now, I've taken the plunge to follow a long-time passion of mine: Becoming an author.
